Chapter 277 A Blast of success

Chapter 277 A Blast of success

"Got it, master," Lucas said with a nod, Sam grunted in satisfaction as he saw Lucas feigning ignorance of what he heard while also learning about something good.

"This potion can be sold for 150 notes in the market, here." Sam placed the cap on the vial and threw it toward him.

"Can I really have it??" Lucas asked with surprise, knowing how much the elixir could sell, he didn't think it was right to take it.

"It's a low-level potion anyway, as for the money... even a cream I make in a minute can sell for 5 times this elixir."

Lucas kept the vial inside his pocket after he heard that, the old man didn't need this, he was already rich enough.

Lucas felt like making more and being rich again, in his territory, the amount of gold coins and mana stones was out of control, the same could be said for food and materials.

The territory was in such good shape with defenses that Lucas was able to make a spontaneous decision to leave so abruptly. He had faith in his people so he was going to take his due time to learn everything that was needed.

"You should start controlling your emotions, your greed is really stinking up the room."

"Hahaha, sorry. So, what do I do now?"

"You are to make every single potion you learned in the book 5 times this very day, based on your advancement, I will move you to the next phase tomorrow. But it all depends on you..." Sam said and yawned a lot in between. He closed his eyes and took the support of the chair's back.

While Lucas was practically huffing from excitement, Sam had dozed off.

Lucas with the help of the book went on a production spree.

He chose recipes that were fast to make and also easy to produce.

In 2 hours, he was able to make four more Elixir of Vigor which was faster than the first time he made it, repetitive tasks helped in complete these tasks faster.

There were 10 recipes in the fundamentals book which was nothing compared to the number of pages there were in it.

Most of them were ways and common methods to process the stuff that was in turn needed to make these recipes.

The four new elixirs of vigor had the same blue light as before, so Lucas was able to move on to the others.

Lucas nodded, taking the advice to heart. He was determined to master the basics before moving on to more complex concoctions.

The potions he produced now were simple, yet each one was crafted with care, ensuring they were of the highest quality.

As the day progressed, Lucas worked his way through the recipes. The Elixir of Vigor, the Tincture of Clarity, the Brew of Fortitude. Each one came together one after another.

He was not just following instructions, he was learning to understand the 'why' behind each step too.

Sam helped a lot in answering the question yet Lucas knew that it would only make the old man annoyed with how many questions he asked.

Sam yawned and stretched, his gaze lingering on the young apprentice. "Keep up this pace, and you'll be ready for the tournament. It's not about ancient secrets or lost arts; it's about mastering what's in front of you." Sam said half asleep, Lucas looked at him with curiosity as he blabbered stuff in sleep.

"What ancient techniques and lost arts? Is there stuff like that here?" His eyes sparkled with greed as Lucas asked.

"Ugh, no! Get to work!" Sam threw a slate of stone at him which Lucas caught without any trouble. It seemed Lucas had finally made him angry again.

'But what's my fault? I just asked what he spoke about on his own...'

Lucas could only swallow his pride and go on with the concoctions.

As Lucas delved further, the potions were getting completed one by one and he felt a surge of pride.

He wasn't just making potions but also honing his craft, building a foundation that would serve him well in the challenges to come.

The sun dipped below the horizon, and the workshop grew dim. Lucas lit a magic torches, their light casting a warm glow over his workspace.

He had one last potion to make before the day was done, and he approached it with a sense of calm focus. Continue your journey on My Virtual Library Empire

The potion came together perfectly, and as Lucas held the vial up to the light, he couldn't help but smile. It was a good day's work, and he was one step closer to being ready for the tournament which was an excuse for making him work faster and efficiently.

Sam nodded off in his chair, a faint smile on his lips. He had chosen his disciple well, and he knew that Lucas would not disappoint when the time came to show the world the fruits of their labor.

All Sam had to do now was wait till he could introduce this guy to the world.
