After which, he used his divine sense but once again failed to find the existence of anyone.
In fact, his divine sense wasn't even able to extend past the three-meter radius mark due to some esoteric restrictions put on this space...
So in the end, he decided to voice his question to whoever may be lurking in the shadows.
"Who are you?? And why did you bring me here??" He questioned.
"Ha! I will do you a favor just this once, boy. After all, you will be dying soon, and the pills oftentimes have more impurities if the materials die with too many grievances," the voice responded with a mocking tone.
After a moment, he stopped laughing and said, "You have been taken into my pill cauldron and will be used as pill material for my Heaven-Defying Dan Pill. But fret not, for your death will go toward a good cause... My cause!"
The voice started cackling again, as he was most definitely laughing his a*s off outside the pill cauldron.
Azmodeus knew this as well, but his expression never morphed into anything other than the unamused look that was plastered on it.
"Nevertheless, you don't need to worry about leaving any unfinished business in the world of the living, as I will be going back to that tiny city you came from and have all the people there become a part of my soul flag!"
The voice continued its speech, as it was quite obvious that this man belonged to the cruelest group of cultivators in Prometheus.
Namely, he was an Evil Cultivator!
Furthermore, it didn't seem like he was your average Evil Cultivator, as from what Azmodeus could tell, he should be in the Peak Stages of the Half-Step Nascent Soul Realm!

Azmodeus was unsure of why such a powerful evil cultivator would be aiming for his life, but it wasn't like it really mattered.
