Chapter 2099: Amadeus Takes Action, Hansel Kingsley Can Never Turn Over Again

Sadam Vinson was initially a bit angry, but upon hearing this, his frustrations instantly dissipated like smoke. He reached out to pat his forehead, realizing he was too petty.

"I didn’t mean it like that."

The fact that Nathalie Quinlan is a diamond big shot in the Illegal Zone involves personal privacy. Both Amadeus Yancey and Nathalie have the right to choose not to disclose it.

Once Sadam Vinson understood this, he changed the topic: "By the way, Amadeus, where did you just go? We were all waiting for Nathalie to come back, and you went out and didn’t return. Nathalie even asked about you."

When Nathalie returned, she asked once, learned that Amadeus had gone out, and didn’t say more.

She was mainly too tired and went upstairs to catch up on sleep.

Amadeus Yancey’s eyes were restrained; he tilted his head, picked up his phone, and glanced down at the message from the Yandor Sect.

——[Amadeus, we’ve already cleared out Hansel Kingsley’s faction in Inderia.]

Amadeus didn’t reply, lowered his gaze, and his fingertips rubbed the screen, a subtle softness in his gaze: "Just went out for a bit."

Sadam Vinson still wanted to ask him.

Amadeus stood up, patted his shoulder, and already brushed past him: "I’m going back to my room to shower."

Sadam Vinson was left dumbfounded for a second.

By the time he came to his senses, Amadeus was already a distant figure.

Everyone had left, and he was left questioning nothingness.

Sadam Vinson vaguely sensed that Amadeus probably went out to handle some business, likely related to the Kingsleys Family and Nathalie. However, he shook his head and didn’t dwell on it.

He turned to Alfred Garland, who was busy in the kitchen, and said, "I’m going back to my room to play games. Don’t call me for dinner tonight; I’m gaming all night to rank up~"

Alfred Garland had just poked his head out of the kitchen when Sadam Vinson grabbed his phone and slipped back to his room.

The next day, Nathalie Quinlan woke up naturally.

When she woke up, the sky outside was already bright.

Nathalie crawled out of bed, washed up, brushed her teeth, and splashed her face with cold water, waking herself up quite a bit.

She changed clothes, put on a scarf, and picked up her phone to check the time.

8:05.

There were 25 minutes until check-in at the research institute.

Nathalie blinked, suppressing the morning drowsiness in her eyes, grabbed her things, and headed out. Before leaving, she put on the black Duckbill Cap from the table.

Downstairs.

Amadeus Yancey was there too.

He wore just a light blue low-necked sweater in the morning, the collar opened low, revealing a fair collarbone.

"Morning."

Nathalie glanced at him, initially shifted her gaze, noticed his clothes, and took another look, her voice still husky from sleep: "Morning."

Noticing she looked at him twice, Amadeus smiled slightly, as if nothing were amiss, lazily pulled out a chair for her, and placed the milk at her spot: "Have breakfast first?"

Nathalie walked over, checked the time, and found it a bit rushed.

She frowned, shook her head, and said, "No time, I’ll skip breakfast."

Amadeus hadn’t spoken yet.

Nathalie quickly walked over, took the milk from his hand, drank it all in one go, placed the cup back, and wiped her mouth: "I have things to do at the research institute today, can’t be late. I drank the milk, but I’ll skip breakfast."

It was rare for Amadeus to see her in such a hurry, but he didn’t ask what was so urgent. He just told Alfred Garland, who promptly packed the toasted bread and a can of juice.

Amadeus grabbed the car keys and breakfast, walking ahead: "Let’s go, I’ll drive you."

Nathalie raised an eyebrow, glanced at him, then finally placed her hands in her pockets and followed.
