10-10 Returning Shadows

The merman ran back to Mermaid Manor and, seeing a peaceful scene, realized he had misunderstood.

Chen Wenwu hooked onto the shadow, and Xinghan jumped down from above, kicking out. The dragon's wings unfurled, launching 18 sharp spikes. Due to the previous blood pact, their attacks wouldn't harm each other, allowing the dragon to confidently use its spikes. Just as the shadow was about to break free, Xinghan's foot struck, followed by the 18 spikes.

The shadow fell. Chen Wenwu was a little puzzled; was it really that easy to die? His domain was also crumbling, but he couldn't worry about that now and immediately rushed towards the beach.

The next second, a figure appeared—it was Blor. Blor spoke, a cold, mechanical voice emanating from him: "You killed my men and think you can get away?" Chen Wenwu was speechless. He'd just dealt with one who came to deliver him, and now there was another. He was preparing to repeat the same trick with the other two.

Before he could even make a move, he felt his body being bound, then he fell straight to the ground, only to see a massive black starship flying away from the beach. Chen Wenwu shouted, "Let me go! Do you dare? I'll knock you to the ground right now, don't stop me." Blor, intrigued, replied, "No one in this universe who can still live normally dares to say they can knock me down, you're the first." The invisible tentacles binding Chen Wenwu vanished, and Chen Wenwu immediately grabbed with a mechanical arm, retracting it to close the distance and prepare to strike. Blor, however, pulled out a long spear with gears, pointing it directly at Chen Wenwu. Chen Wenwu immediately swung his mechanical arm to avoid hitting the spear. The next second, a golden beam of light shot out from the spear, covering a vast area, turning everything in its path into black embers. Fortunately, no animals were in its path. Blor swung the spear, and Chen Wenwu quickly dodged, the trajectory of the spear leaving a crack in space. Then, the crack exploded, scattering countless black starlight that fell to the ground, corroding everything in its path. Chen Wenwu felt a lingering fear, but for Mo Bei's sake...

Mo Bei had barely stepped onto the beach, enjoying the seawater lapping at his feet, when suddenly he was enveloped in golden light. He felt his body being pulled away, and then he found himself in an enormous space. Above where he had been standing was a massive starship, with the words "Star Prison" printed on its side.

Chen Wenwu took out a weapon from his backpack—a gun, of course, loaded with bullets. He fired several shots, then flung himself away towards the beach. Blore knew what he was up to; after dodging the bullets, he shattered them with a single shot. If he hadn't, the bullets would have hit Xinghan and Shenlong. He was trying to see if he could break free of their restraints with bullets. Xinghan shouted, "That's it! Go find Momo first! We're not important!" Shenlong's mouth was covered, so he could only mumble.

Chen Wenwu turned back and said, "Don't worry, I'll find Mo Bei for you. Then I'll take the Pa Ying ship to find you." Blore heard Pa Ying's voice and quietly watched Chen Wenwu leave. He remained there until he was completely gone.

Chen Wenwu rushed to the beach, only to find nothing there; the Starry Sky Prison had vanished. He frantically searched the sand, calling out softly, "Mo Bei, Mo Bei!" But there was nothing there. He then spotted the entrance to Mermaid Manor and prepared to investigate.

Inside the manor, they were surrounded by fish-men. Chen Wenwu grabbed one and asked, "Do you know Mo Bei? The tall guy who fell from the top of Cheming Lake City?" The fish-man shook his head. "We take in too many people in distress. You can go find Qing Yunian." He then pointed to Qing Yunian's room. Chen Wenwu thanked him and ran off, but couldn't help but mutter, "What a name..."

Upon arriving at Qing Yunian's room, Chen Wenwu asked, "Are you Qing Yunian? Do you know Mo Bei?" Qing Yunian replied, "Yes, I know him. He's the one who's always clamoring to fight me. You're the friend he said he'd protect, right?" Chen Wenwu was delighted: "Yes, where is he now?" Qing Yunian said, "He left through that exit." Chen Wenwu then ran off, repeatedly shouting, "How could this be? I definitely didn't find him... Impossible, impossible..."

Blore arrived above Tianxing. Pa Ying had already left, heading to a more distant place, deep into space. After using his mental power to search but finding no trace of Pa Ying, Blore flashed back to Youlu Star. At that moment, Chen Wenwu was still searching for Mo Bei's figure on the beach.

Bloor came up behind Chen Wenwu, who then fell straight down again. Bloor raised a hand, and Xinghan and Shenlong appeared, also lying on the ground as if bound by something. Bloor said, "I'm not playing with you anymore." Chen Wenwu glared at him fiercely.
