Chapter 21 Truth
Chapter 21 Truth
The aroma of roasted chicken, the creamy fragrance of desserts, and the freshness of fruit, mixed with the scent of champagne, created an enticing aroma that instantly dispelled the tension and fear lingering in the cabin.
Unbelievable ecstasy finally blossomed on the faces of the surviving passengers!
"We did it! We really did it!"
"The loop has ended!"
Many people excitedly hugged the strangers next to them, and some even cried tears of joy.
Lin Feng, Ivan, Carlos, and Olaf, the members of the "Cleanup Squad" who had just fought side by side, excitedly pounded each other's shoulders and gave each other a high five.
While everyone was cheering, Evelyn quickly picked up the fatal lipstick with her gloved hand and strode towards Xia Ning, who was dealing with the wax figure.
"Miss flight attendant, this is for you." She handed over the lipstick in a calm tone.
Xia Ning took it, put it into a special sealed bag without even looking at it, and smiled and nodded to Evelyn: "Well done."
After handing over the dangerous goods, Evelyn immediately turned and went to the bathroom, carefully peeled off the lip sticker that had protected her from the lipstick, and flushed it down the toilet.
After repeatedly washing her lips and hands, she looked in the mirror and let out a long sigh of relief.
When she returned to the cabin, the atmosphere had become relaxed and warm.
The flight attendants are smiling as they distribute food and drinks to the passengers.
Evelyn took a glass of bubbly juice and naturally walked over to Lin Feng, Ivan, and their group.
No one said anything, they simply made room for her without any hesitation.
Lin Feng handed her a plate of cut fruit, while Ivan raised his drink and shouted gruffly, "To survive!"
"To survive!" Several cups clinked together.
........................
Before I knew it, the sky outside the window had been replaced by a thick, inky black.
The curtain at the front of the cabin was lifted again, and Xia Ning appeared, still leading two flight attendants, with precise and synchronized steps.
Her cold gaze slowly swept across the entire room, sweeping over every face filled with fear like a searchlight.
When their gazes met Lin Feng's, there was a barely perceptible pause, and a faint, elusive curve seemed to appear at the corner of their lips.
But this subtle change was fleeting; her expression quickly froze, returning to that inorganic, icy coldness.
"Dear passengers, a long journey requires some relaxation, so it's time for some enjoyable entertainment."
Xia Ning announced in her signature sweet but cold voice.
"Tonight, let's play a classic game—'Truth or Dare'."
"First, we have the 'Truth or Dare' segment. The rules are as follows..."
"First, I will randomly select one passenger to participate in the game. The selected person may not refuse for any reason."
"Second, those selected will need to answer three questions I will present in turn. The questions may delve into your deepest secrets or ask for your 'true opinion' about this flight."
"Third, the 'authenticity' of the answer will be determined jointly by me and this space."
Please remember that any form of lying, silence, or ambiguity is considered a violation.
"Of course, if your answer itself... makes us uncomfortable, then you'll also have to pay the price."
"If all three questions are judged to be 'true' and do not offend us, you will receive a 'special reward': a bottle of 'calming drink'."
"After drinking it, you can enter a protected deep sleep for the next 8 hours, ignoring all the noise and rule disturbances on the flight."
After the rules were read out, the cabin was deathly silent, with only suppressed gasps and the soft cracking of teeth being heard.
What kind of game is this?
This is clearly a naked psychological torture chamber!
Xia Ning maintained that cold smile as her gaze slowly swept over the silent passengers.
"Now, let's draw the first participant."
She stretched out her pale fingers and gently stroked the air in front of her.
As she moved, the lights on the cabin ceiling began to flicker and dim eerily. Finally, a beam of pale light suddenly shone down like a spotlight on a stage, precisely enveloping a male passenger wearing a headscarf.
"Mr. Rashid from the Pyramid Kingdom," Xia Ning's voice held a hint of amusement, "congratulations on becoming the first guest tonight."
Rashid, who was locked onto by the beam of light, shuddered violently.
Xia Ning gazed at him and asked softly:
"Mr. Rashid, please answer truthfully: Have you ever cursed the flight attendants in your heart?"
Rashid's face turned from white to green.
To say that there is none would be a complete lie.
However, if one were to honestly admit it, it would undoubtedly anger these strange beings.
His mind went blank, and cold sweat trickled down his temples.

Pyramid Country Livestream Room:
"By Allah! This question is wicked! To speak the truth or to lie is to die!"
"This is a million times harder than deciding who to save if my mom and my wife both fell into the water at the same time! It's simply unsolvable!"
"If it were me, I'd just faint. How am I supposed to answer that?!"
"Let's just admit it honestly. At least the rules say you can't lie. Maybe if we offend the flight attendant, there'll be a chance for a turnaround?"
"The person upstairs is too naive! Look at Xia Ning's expression. Do you think she'll get away with it if she admits it?"
"All I can say is, whoever designed these rules must be mentally disturbed!"
"Between two evils, choose the lesser... At least following the rule of 'not lying' might slow your death down?"
"Pray, brothers, Rashid looks like he's about to collapse!"
........................
Rashid clearly went through the same mental struggle.
In the face of extreme fear, he ultimately chose to abide by the bottom line of "not lying".
His lips trembled as he forced out a reply through clenched teeth:
"……yes."
Xia Ning's brow furrowed almost imperceptibly. Though she didn't say much, the sudden, icy pressure made the surrounding air almost freeze.
Then, the second question came like a cold noose:
"So, do you believe yesterday's vote was unfair?"
This is a deadly trap.
Answering "yes" means openly questioning Xia Ning's authority.
Answering "no" would be contrary to one's conscience in witnessing the truth.
Rashid struggled with despair in his eyes for a moment, then finally pleaded in a trembling voice, "No... there is no injustice."
Xia Ning's lips curved slightly, and she pronounced her verdict without the slightest hesitation, cold and swift: "Lies."
Before she could finish speaking, a flight attendant behind her stepped forward with a gleaming chisel.
With precise movements, the hammer fell with a thud, and the chisel sank into Rashid's head.
Another flight attendant then stepped forward and slowly poured a bottle of viscous liquid with strange bubbles into the wound.
The next moment, Rashid's body underwent a terrifying transformation, convulsing violently.
Immediately, an indescribable, wet "thing" peeled off the human skin and jumped out.
A long, scarlet tongue shot out like lightning from the shadows at the rear of the cabin, coiling back around it.
Then, a chilling sound of chewing and bones cracking echoed from the darkness...
