180- Planetary Migration
180- Planetary Migration
Dian did not immediately execute the protocol to move the defeated planets from their star system yet. First, he needed to stabilize the situation in the Planet Master System. It was because…“Waah…”
All the opponents’ Planet Masters cried at the same time. Even Dian felt that he had done something wrong when he saw them crying so much.
“Oh, come on now.” Chikara was the first one to protest.
“Why are you crying anyway?”
She appeared to be annoyed but her eyes showed scrutiny and curiosity. She was just wondering what deed her side did to make them cry so much.
“We…lost.” The Great Rat God felt like the world was coming to an end, his world that was.
“Yeah, so there is something I need your cooperation with.” Dian stood up from his throne, slowly approaching the opposite side. Along with him, his subordinate Planet Masters also followed suit.
“We will be at the mercy of your will.” The Great Rat God said.
“So what? That’s the natural result of the Star Battle.” Dian tilted his head and shrugged. To him, that was as obvious as the laws of the world.
“They are afraid.” Frie began to explain.
“Why should they? Didn’t they see me treat you properly?” Dian did not understand where their fear came from. Sadness, fear and confusion took root in the face of the opposite Planet Masters.
“They did not dare to gamble on that. They’d rather rely on something certain than this.” Smirth interjected.
“There is nothing certain in this world. There is only a probability for us. Even if our civilization develops further, that will not change.” Dian said with a helpless look.
But then he extended his hand to the Great Rat God, his former enemy.
“But you can keep yourself and your race under me and my race’s management. Sounds better than complete annihilation, right?” Dian said flatly.
“You are right.” The Great Rat God nodded with a heavy expression. Then he glanced at the other Planet Master under him.
“We…are already in this state. Changing master wouldn’t matter to us.” The male Elf said with a sigh.
“You look weary. You must have been through a lot.” As a Planet Master with the same race, Frie could detect more of the situation.
Smirth also stepped forward. Dian let the two go since their races were the same.
“Please don’t be a burden, alright. Come on, now. Let’s start together.” He said to the Lizardfolk Planet Master.
“You are pretty good. It is just a case of a bad match.” Ghylea said, which caused the opponent’s side to grow wary and afraid.
“Why?” Ghylea wanted to be friendly with them, but there was a sense of rejection from them.
Then he realized that Dian’s group was special because they accepted him. Perhaps it was due to seniority, or perhaps it was because his race became formidable in the hands of the collaboration between the undead and the human races.
“Ah…” the Great Rat God then realized that Dian had extended his hand toward him. But he felt that he was not suitable for being alive after seeing what his race had done.
He felt so devastated that he did not have the will to live.
Then Dian extended his hand toward the shoulder of the Great Rat God.
“Come on. Don’t you want to see the pinnacle of this place?” Dian asked with a smile.
“I want to…but I am no longer qualified.”
“No, you and everyone with you are qualified.” Dian quickly replied. He looked at the Great Rat God’s eyes with that look, encouraging him.
Seeing this, Leif, Ghylea, Frie, Chikara, Arowana, Mazdari, Goliath and Smirth also let out a slight smile at them.
“Really?” the Lizardfolk Planet Master slowly looked up and saw the smiles of their former opponent, the smile filled with sincerity.
“Why?” the Elf then slowly wiped out the tears that came from the eyes and asked.
“We share a common destiny. I just want to bring everyone I meet to the pinnacle if possible.” Dian replied.
“What does that mean?” After wiping out the tears, the Great Rat God wanted to know his former opponent more.
“It means that I can bring you to see the view at the top.” Dian said while the others did not interrupt.
“If you want to see a battle unlike before, then you'd better stick with us.” Chikara grinned, showing her teeth.
“Like what she said, you should be longing to see the pinnacle.” Frie added.
“Do you believe that with this capability, my race and I have a chance to become a Venerable?” Dian said something that tempted the Great Rat God and his group.
“A Venerable? Do you even realize what that position means?” he said, doubting slightly what Dian had proclaimed.
“Of course, I know what that means. Realizing it may be hard, but it is achievable.” Dian added. There was a confident tone in the way he said it but Dian wanted them to know that his ambition was to at least become a Venerable.
“You’re crazy.” The Great Rat God exclaimed.
“That’s what he said.” Chikara pointed at him while facing Dian.
Dian turned his head to look at Chikara and knew that he needed to address this further.
“You do realize that our races have undergone something.” Dian started by reminding them about the difference between the races under him and the usual race configuration.
“Yes…I remember seeing different units for the Glings as well as the Undead. They felt different from what I know so far about them.” The Great Rat God admitted.
“The Glings have undergone some sort of Atavism and became a Primarch Variant while the Undead have found their path to advance to a higher level of transcendence.” Dian replied smugly.
The Great Rat God looked at Dian before looking at Chikara and Ghylea, respectively. Looking at those two, he knew that Dian did not seem to be exaggerating.
“Can you…do the same to my race?” he asked, almost pleading.
“They are my source of confidence and my anchor. To be honest, I have grown attached to them.” The Great Rat God said. But through Dian’s perspective, he looked like saddened.
“Hahaha, don’t worry about that. I intend to incorporate your race into the Federation created by my race. Actually, my race’s Star Children and the top figures in the Federation have reached a similar conclusion.” Dian laughed before he explained what was going on.
“Really? Do you truly want his race? What about us?” the male Elf asked with his body shivering.
“Yes. What about us and our race?” The female Lizarfolk also did similarly.
“You see behind me that the Planet Masters are corresponding to your races. Get them to bring your branch of races to reconcile with them.” Dian pointed using his thumb behind him where Frie and Smirth were standing.
“Uhm, that sounds like trouble.” Smirth took a look at the female Lizardfolk and knew that it was a trouble leading her.
“I have an additional task to complete. Is that what you mean, Master?” Frie’s eyes sharpened when she landed her gaze on Dian.
“Come on. This is something that we expect in the first place.” Dian told her.
“New individuals are always welcome.” Goliath, whose presence was thin despite his size, welcomed the new individuals into the fold.
Then Frie and Smirth had to slowly extend their hand like Dian did, offering the two a better future for their races under the management of the human race.
The Great Rat God saw that the two had accepted the offer. Slowly, their hands reached toward Frie and Smirth’s hands and grasped them.
Seeing that, he grasped Dian’s hand and Dian clenched his hand, slowly strengthening the grip. Then he pulled the Great Rat God slightly so that he could stand.
“Well, how about an introduction for starters?” Dian tidied up his clothes. He pulled his tie slightly as it made him look more formal. At least according to the appearance of his clothes and the knowledge of human etiquette.
“Right. It is disrespectful to learn someone’s name without an introduction.”
“That’s right. This is a good opportunity to learn about each other.” Arowana nodded but he felt that his race could not personally participate in this Star Battle.
Then the Great Rat God looked at Dian, expectantly, to introduce himself.
“Ahem. Although, for my human race, I am better known as the Father God, my name was given to me by them, since I hadn’t thought about it before. I am Dian.” Dian introduced himself that way because he liked the name he was given.
“Oh, oh. Although I am called the Great Rat God by my race but I am called Cisor. Nice to know you.” Cisor introduced himself properly.
“I am Halden. It is nice to be able to coexist and even contribute to your superior race.” The male Elf said with a bit of resignation and a sigh.
Frie furrowed her brow due to irritation but indirectly calling her race inferior did not sound pleasant. But she had to admit that was not wrong. The Elves on the Cerulean Planet were managed by the Federation.
“I am Olza. Uhm, how is the management of your own race?” she asked Smirth.
“I am still learning about letting my race learn and develop by itself. Only giving them the help and support only in times of need, as well as watching over them, I suppose.” Smirth replied unusually.
Dian also let Cisor stand close to him while watching the other four acclimate to the new situation they were in.
“Now that our introduction is over, let’s talk about how your territory, I mean those planets are going to be placed or assimilated to my own.” Dian suddenly said this because the time limit for delaying the process of integrating the enemy’s territory was due.
“Oh, right. Please store them in the temporary inventory first.” Cisor suggested. “I will stabilize the races under me and even make a compact space around the planet that my civilization has conquered.”
“Thank you for your cooperation.” Dian nodded before he executed the protocol for moving the enemy’s life planets to his star system.
First, Cisor had to stabilize the space around the planets first. Rodentia and Solont were life planets so they needed to be stabilized. As for the other planets that became the Municipality’s territory but were not developed along with Zenollium, they would become nutrients for the life planets and would not waste space.
Then the others started to get into their role.
“Make sure that the entry points are stable.” Olza said to the rest of them.
Frie had to handle so many of the thing happening all at once.
“Leif, Goliath, Arowana, you three will be the ones stabilizing things on your end.” Frie shouted, which the three immediately handled.
“Alright, leave it to us.” Leif gave her a thumbs-up as he went into the permitted part of the Planet Master System to stabilize the space on the Virya Star System.
Goliath had to handle the calculation of the distance and orbit while Arowana had to fluidly handle the Hinon Federation’s planets.
“Chikara, Ghylea and Mazdari will handle the assisting part on letting the Municipality’s planets enter the temporary inventory and making sure that those inhabitants and our spaceship fleets are safe and sound!” Frie once again gave an order.
“Received.” Mazdari replied as he spread his wings which signified that he used a bit of the borrowed existence power to help with the task.
“Fine. That fleet is also my race.” Chikara then ordered her race’s fleets to standby on the Rodentia geostationary orbit. Not only her but Ghylea also ordered similar things to his race spaceship. The Federation's main fleets were soon followed since Dian had warned Tatsumi and he spread it to the entire Federation's main fleets.
Olza and Halden also helped with their own, handling the Solont and Rodentia to be inserted into the temporary inventory. The rest would be handled by Smirth, Cisor and Dian.
“Are you ready?” Cisor asked Dian.
Dian scoffed. “I am already prepared. Fortunately, I have so many capable individuals who follow me. I don’t know whether that is a good sign or not.”
“Yes. Frie looks like your secretary, you know.” Cisor teased.
But Dian went silent. He had to admit that what Cisor said was not wrong since Frie handled most of the intelligence, making her the most knowledgeable person on his roster.
“Haha, let’s do this.” Dian was opening so many system panels to make sure that every aspect of entering the temporary inventory.
Slowly but surely, a spatial wave reverberated throughout the entire Municipality’s star system.
Then the people saw that they slowly but surely entered a spatial crack so large it enveloped the entire planet. This not only happened on Rodentia but also on Solont. Both the life planets were slowly entering the temporary inventory space in Dian’s Planet Master System.
[You have stored two life planets in the temporary inventory.]
When that system prompt appeared, Dian realized that he had successfully done it with the help of Cisor and Smirth.
Dian nodded thankfully at the two of them. The two also nodded in response. Then Dian activated something for the other planets that were not life planets but modified planets.
[Do you want to assimilate the planets of your enemy?]
Dian willed it, and the system responded.
[Assimilating the planets. Please select the planet to be the beneficiary of the assimilation progress.]
Dian thought as he willed for the Cerulean Planet to be the beneficiary while the rest of the planet was assimilated.
This was just an advanced form of the usual planet assimilation but with multiple planets.
Dian designated the Cerulean Planet since it was the center of the Federation’s political and governance. Then the assimilated planet slowly crushed down to bits, changing from a planet form into numerous small debris of cosmic matter.
Then this cosmic matter was slowly absorbed by the Cerulean Planet on the other side.
When this happened, Dian and the others saw something that would be imprinted in their existence.
The moment all the planets in the Municipality’s star system had been moved or assimilated, the star in the distance, which formed the center of the star system, suddenly underwent a change.
Dian and the others still had to manage things on the Municipality’s territory so they could see this.
The star suddenly grew bigger. Dian and the others then realized one important thing. So they expedited the process of moving the fleets into the temporary inventory as well as the assimilation process.
Because the star in the star system of the Municipality suddenly grew bigger meant that it was not far from reaching its tipping point. That meant the star underwent an unnatural change and caused it to grow bigger.
“Quick. I am afraid the star has something that caused this.” Dian said to the others. The others saw the grave look Dian had and also hastened the progress.
When everything was settled, Dian and the others quickly closed the spatial crack. The moment they did so, the star in the distance underwent a supernova. Explosion which could be felt within millions of kilometers and could be seen from light-years away happened right in front of their eyes.
Dian focused on the center of the explosion. The others also glanced at where Dian’s gaze landed.
There at the center was something like a form. The form was shadowed because of all the light but Dian felt that the form was actually a creature.
“What is that?” Cisor asked.
“If you don’t know, who am I to answer that?” Dian had a self-deprecating smile at that question.
“It is a creature, that is for sure.” Frie said with certainty.
“Are you certain that is a creature? Then what is it?” Dian asked.
“I don’t know much. But there are rumors about the lifeform hidden in the core of the star. Some say that they are the Watchers since they watch the civilization on the planet flourish and go out to the other planets. Some who realized that their world is like a cage called them the Warden. Their task is to watch the rise and fall of the civilization.” Frie said with a bit of uncertainty.
“Whatever it is, it will not be hostile toward us, right?” Dian needed to confirm this fast. Otherwise, he would be nervous for the rest of his existence.
“According to the information I know, no.” Frie briefly answered.
“Things are beyond our control now.” Dian looked at the shadow of the figure in the middle of the blinding light.
Then the shadowy figure slowly absorbed the light and matter surrounding him, it was as if the explosion that had occurred just now were reversed. Then the creature ‘opened’ its eyes, looking directly at where Dian and the others were.
Despite being in the Planet Master Space, the system panel showed that the creature looked right at them through it.
“Don’t be afraid.” A voice as soft as a whisper could be heard reverberating in the Planet Master Space.
“My task here is done.” The creature said in an understandable way for the Planet Master, and Dian looked around and realized that the message of the creature was spread to all of them regardless of language.
“Do you understand what it had said?” Dian asked.
Cisor, Halden, and Olza understood and nodded. Dian did not need to look at his roster since they shared the language and locution.
“Come, let’s complete the procedure. We need to release the life planet back to Virya Star System.” Dian urged.
Then slowly but surely, Dian pulled out the two life planets from the temporary inventory.
[The two planets have been let out from the temporary inventory.]
Dian ten let them out while Leif, Goliath and Arowana welcomed the new life planets into their star system.
“Well, Cisor, here is some existence power to restore yourself. Sorry for the previous fight.” Dian threw a white ball light at Cisor’s forehead.
“Wah.” Cisor was surprised that Dian did this. But he knew that Dian was not a bad individual, just on a different side. Now that they were on the same side, Cisor could see that Dian took care of his subordinate quite well.
