Chapter 27 2nd Boss
Chapter 27 2nd Boss
Emerging from the ground was a gigantic tree. Each of the numerous fruits growing on it had faces, giving it a disturbingly grotesque appearance.
Near the central area, akin to a chest, there was a large hollow filled with a gigantic fruit. Inside that fruit was the face of an elderly man, looking pained.
I appraised the creature.

The enemy's level cap is supposed to be 100, isn't it? It seems the Emperor Orc was just the first wave's enemy.
Liora had used up all her strength on the first enemy. How unfortunate...but that was spectacular.
Liora seemed unfazed, holding her scythe ready. I wouldn't let her charge recklessly this time. We don't have Dark Region now. This battle will likely be a more conventional raid.
"Go!" someone shouted, and the tank units charged forward.
Liora followed, summoning Samurai with Tame Technique. It was a waste not to call her earlier for the experience points.
"Liora, let's start with magic to test the waters."
"Yes, God!"
"I'll use Enemy Resistance Reduction as support."
There are probably NPCs with weapons that inflict status ailments.
Liora unleashed Shadow Slash while I applied gift of venom. The spell's chant extension ensured she delivered the minimum required magic damage.
Over fifty vine hounds appeared. This wasn't the time to stay in the backlines for fire support.
The tanks were already forward, and front-line attackers too. Vine hounds charged at the healers, mages, and archers. It looked like a wall of dog-shaped missiles.
"Liora, we're going!"
"Yes, God! Samurai you too! Attack!!!"
Samurai dashed forward, transforming into a new form we had developed. Her new form was a massive octopus.
Mode: Kraken.
The octopus was 15 meters long, with ten-meter tentacles, surpassing the largest real-world sizes. And it had ten tentacles.
I tricked Samurai into this form using false information and a model created with Create Dark.
(I couldn't make the hundred-tentacle version due to my skill limitations, but this form is powerful.)
Samurai, in her gigantic form, collided with the vine hounds, losing 60% of her HP in one hit, but Liora's Regen helped.
Also,
"Feel the miracle of MyuMyu! MyunMyun Beam!"
Healer MyuMyu healed Samurai. She specialized in recovery.
Immediately, MyuMyu's contracted NPC—an elf named Noir—rapidly fired arrows, reducing the vine hounds.
Second-wave attackers also engaged the vine hounds. Underleveled players who couldn't join the main front managed to fend off the vine hounds.
With Liora joining, the rear guard was secured.
"Second tanks, forward! Main tanks, recover. Healers prioritize tanks. Use small spells to avoid drawing aggro. Myun!"
"Steady damage, go!"
Archers and long-range attackers dealt damage. Mages coordinated to time their next high-damage spells. Gradual damage is dangerous in raid boss fights due to HP-triggered powerful attacks.
When damage reaches certain thresholds, bosses unleash devastating moves. Coordinated bursts can bypass these, reducing them from three to two uses.
Archangel MyuMyu is well-versed in the game.
The battle against the corrupted world tree reached its climax.
